Marie Steward (née Humphries) 1 Woodgrove, Rathvilly and formerly Rathdaniel, Rathvilly, Co. Carlow – 22nd December 2025 peacefully in the loving care of the wonderful staff at Carnew Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family; predeceased by her loving husband Cyril.
Sadly missed by her loving son Thomas, brother Jimmy, sisters Peg and Chrissie, sister-in-law Breda, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly (Eircode R93 C560) on Tuesday, 23rd December from 4pm with removal from there at 6.30pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Rathvilly for reception prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Christmas Eve at 11am after which she will be laid to rest in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, can be made directly to The Alzheimer’s Society.

Carlow and late of Drimnagh, Dublin 12 – 5th January 2026 peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family; predeceased by his parents James and Annie, brother Michael, Aunt Sue and uncle Willie. Sadly missed by his loving partner Claire, daughter Pamela, her partner Terry and her mother, Claire’s brothers and sisters especially Elizabeth and their children, extended family, neighbours, relatives, friends and his companion Bowie.
