Jimmy Dowling, Knocklishen, Rathvilly, Co. Carlow – 27th July 2026 in the loving care of all at Baltinglass Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents James and Elizabeth.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, children Elizabeth, Stephen, Linda and James, daughters-in-law Joan and Lorraine, sons-in-law Eoin and Fran, brothers John and Michael, sisters Dora, Kitty and Betty, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren Amy, Orlaith, Niamh, Aoife, Shane, Aron, Niall, Liam, Sarah and Aidan, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly (Eircode R93 C560) on Wednesday evening from 4pm with removal at 7pm to his residence for private reposal.

Funeral arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Rathvilly on Thursday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest in Rathvilly Cemetery.
