talbotstown-nsScoil Naomh Bríd Talbotstown is a rural school situated at the foot of Keadeen Mountain near the village of Kiltegan. The current school was originally constructed in 1962. An older school building existed between the site of our current school and the church. Currently, there are 94 pupils attending the school. The school has four mainstream teachers, a learning support teacher, a resource teacher, a special needs assistant, a homework club assistant, a cleaner and a secretary. The school is newly extended and now consists of four classrooms, two support rooms, an I.T. room, a staff room, an office, two playgrounds and a large playing pitch.

Extra-curricular activities play a big role at Scoil Naomh Bríd, Talbotstown. The children receive tuition from external coaches in rugby, soccer, GAA, basketball, gymnastics, hip hop dancing and swimming. We enjoy quizzes and the senior children participate in several quiz competitions throughout the year.
