Shane (Michael) Murphy, Ladystown, Rathvilly, Co Carlow – peacefully, 14th February 2021, in the gentle care of the staff of Sonas Nursing Home, Tullow. Beloved son of the late Peter and Anastatia; brother of Margaret, uncle of Paddy and Ewan, brother-in-law of Jim and nephew of Anna and Allan. Sadly missed by his loving sister, nephews, brother-in-law, aunt, uncle, many cousins, neighbours and friends. Shane attended the Cairdeas Centre, Tullow for many years and will be much missed by the staff and all his friends there.

In line with government and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings a private Funeral for family and close friends will take place. Funeral arriving to St. Patrick’s Church, Rathvilly on Tuesday, February 16th, for 12 noon Requiem Mass (max 10 people in church) with burial afterwards in Baltinglass Cemetery.
